 Forms Available

There are still MANY Time & Talent forms that have not been returned. To keep our files current, we request that you update your T & T sheet yearly.

   Day Time Diners
will be having lunch at the Cedar Point Club at Patuxent River on Friday July 11th. We will meet at church at 10:45 a.m. so we can use cars with base access. This lunch is a buffet and the cost is $5.00 per person. I have to have an accurate head count for the club by Wednesday, July 9th. Please use the sign up sheet in the fellowship hall.    Trinity’s Stars Shine!
   Come see Trinity’s own Allison Mehaffey and Danny Morris in “Seussical the Musical” on Sunday, July 27th @ 5:00 p.m. This is a Parks and Recreation production. Purchase tickets at the Parks & Rec office in Leonardtown. There is general seating.

High School Youth News

   Breakfast at Panera – Sunday, July 13th, @ 9:30 a.m. Meet there for some time together and a discussion about youth group plans for the future. If you need a ride after the early service or back to church for the late service, please contact Meredith Wilkins-Arnold.

   Make Your Plans Now to Attend Crab Feast
Trinity's annual crab feast will be a little different this year. The crab feast will be held here at the church and three other Lutheran churches will be joining us. Tickets will go on sale soon. Please watch Trinity Talks and the bulletin board for more information. This event is being sponsored by Thrivent and will be a fund raiser for the St. Mary's Hospital, St. Mary's Affiliates Program. The program has been described in the the last two issues of St. Mary's Hospital "Healthy Living" quarterly publication. More info will be coming in future Trinity Talks. For now mark you calendars for Friday, September 5th, for an evening of good eating, fun and fellowship with others in the Tri-County area.



   
Youth Focused Worship Service
in Planning Stages

   We are collaborating with at least five other churches to plan a monthly service dedicated to youth. The planning meeting is July 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Please contact Meredith with questions or ideas or come to the meeting!
 

   VBS Scheduled for July7-11

    
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY for registration for “God's Big Backyard.” We still need adult volunteers; please contact Jill @ 301-863-7467, if you are interested in volunteering or for more info.
   There are still a few items left on the flip charts in the narthex that can be donated to help VBS. Please sign up for any supplies that you would be willing to donate. If you have already signed up, please bring in your donations as soon as possible.
 




   LWML Chesapeake Convention
  is September 26-28, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Baltimore in Timonium, Maryland. Summer will be gone before you know it and the convention will be right around the corner. Are You Registered? Do you have your Delegate Lined Up? Make your plans now to attend this event. Registration forms are on the bulletin board.

will be on July 1st (@ 6:15 p.m.) on Field #2.

   “Godspell”
– Friday, August 15th at 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Leonardtown. This is a musical production that tells the story of Matthew’s Gospel…a great way to learn with fun music. Meet at Ledo’s Pizza in Leonardtown at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided by the church. $5 for the show. Parents, siblings and friends are welcome to join us.

Here’s How We Are Serving
in the Community...

Habitat for Humanity
New registration forms are available for our work camp week for Habitat for Humanity. We will work Monday–Friday, August 11th –16th. Workers must be 16 years of age and all experience levels are needed. Those who can not work on-site are invited to help prepare and serve lunches. Sign up sheets are on the “Fellowship” bulletin board. Look for a “food needs list” in the next couple of weeks.

 Choir On Summer Break
The choir is on a summer break and
will resume their practices on
Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m.
beginning July 20th.
