LWML Chesapeake Convention
Spring has come and gone with its new growth of flowers
blooming and plants growing everywhere. Summer is upon us, a time for
family and fun. A time to grow closer to our loved ones and nurture
them. But ladies we still need to nurture and strengthen ourselves. And
we can do this by attending the 2008 Chesapeake District Convention in
Timonium, MD September 26-28th. If you ever wanted to attend a
Chesapeake District Convention, this is the ONE to come to. It is loaded
with Excellent Speakers & Entertainers.
“Godspell” Friday, August 15 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Leonardtown. This is a musical production that tells the story of Matthew’s Gospel…a great way to learn with fun music. Meet at Ledo’s Pizza in Leonardtown at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be provided by the church. $5 for the show. Parents, siblings and friends are welcome to join us. |
Day Time Diners will be having lunch at the Cedar Point Club at Patuxent River on Friday July 11. We will meet at church at 10:45 so we can use cars with base access. This lunch is a buffet and the cost is $5.00 per person. I have to have an accurate head count for the club by Wednesday, July 9. Please use the sign up sheet in the fellowship hall. Call Jeri Pharis with any questions. 301 373 2724. Acolytes Needed for Summer
